Accessories Posted 18-02-2012

Your accessories are usually the last detail when putting the final touches to your formal or event dress. It is crucuail not to overdo it with accessories, the golden rule...less is always more. Over accessorising can take focus away form you and your formal dress. Our resident stylist has the following tips:
- If your dress is bold print, heaivly jewllled or full of Hollywood glam, choose understated pieces that will add to your look and accentuate the uniqueness of your dress.
- If your dress is less detailed, you can choose accessories that are more bold and stand out
- If your dress is heavily beaded in the bust avoid a necklace. Instead choose a fabulous pair of earrings or place focus on a bracelet or a detailed clutch bag
- If you are wearing long dangling earrings avoid a heavily necklace or chocker, you don't want to look like you are trying to frame your face with bling.
- If you have bought a new pair of shoes for he event. Don't save them for your special night. Pur them on and walk around in them. Breaking them in will ensure pain free feet at the end of the night.
